My laptop was purchased new for college, just a few months ago. I have recently installed an array of applications on it, the most recent of which is Blender, described by Wikipedia as a “professional free and open-source 3D computer graphics software product”. I installed Blender so that I could generate 3D images and videos, and experiment with the program. I did not seriously consider any other apps to install in Blender’s stead, as my dad recommended Blender and, judging from Blender’s website and Wikipedia page, it looked like a great option.
I have not yet learned to utilize much of Blender’s extensive program, but it looks extremely useful. So far, I have found nothing that the user cannot manipulate, and I have barely begun to exercise Blender’s capabilities. Blender has been used to create full-length feature films, yet is free for personal use. I recommend it to anyone interested in video generation.
